From Music Under the Stars to our Hometown Days Festival and Holiday Under the Stars, the United City of Yorkville comes alive through our many festivals and recreational opportunities. Artists are currently needed for the Art in City Hall Program. All artwork is exhibited in Yorkville's City Hall Council Chambers. Exhibits are free to artists and residents. Register Now for Parker’s Playtime Preschool 2015-2016 School Year                                              Registration has begun for the Parker’s Playtime Preschool 2015-2016 school year and classes are filling up! Preschool and Jr Kindergarten programs are available for children ages 3-5 (by September 1, 2015) and is located at 201 W Hydraulic Ave, Yorkville. Ready, Set, Go!

The Yorkville Recreation Department is offering a new session of Ready, Set, Go! Ready, Set, Go is a program designed to introduce children ages 2-3 to the daily and weekly routine of preschool with activities that are adapted to meet the needs of this younger age group! Sessions will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 – 10:30am. Price is $75 for residents and $85 for nonresidents. For more information or to register please call 630-553-4357 or log online at


Spring Youth Soccer Registration Begins Monday February 2                                                                    Play soccer with the Yorkville Parks & Recreation Department this spring! Registration for youth leagues begins on Monday, February 2 and will last until Friday, February 13. Divisions that will be offered include Pre-K / Kindergarten, 1st/2nd Grade, 3rd/4th Grade, 5th/6th Grade, and 7th/8th Grade; each division is co-ed. Registration is $65-$100 depending on your child’s grade and residency status. You can register by calling the recreation office at 630-553-4357, by visiting the recreation office in person (201 W. Coed and Men’s Summer Softball Leagues                                                                                                       Looking to play softball this summer? The Yorkville Parks & Recreation Department will begin registration for both a Men’s and Co-Ed Softball Leagues beginning Monday, February 2. Registration will last until Friday, April 10 and is $725 per team. Each league will feature a 14 game schedule (Double-Header format) with games being played from 6:15pm-10:15pm. Both leagues are USSSA sanctioned. Games will begin the last week of April. Please call the Yorkville Parks & Recreation office at 630-553-4357 for more information. Easter Breakfast & Egg Hunt
Join the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department and Senior Services for
this fun, family event! Families will eat breakfast with the Easter Bunny,
create crafts, play games, and then at 9:00am hunt for Easter Eggs! The Egg
Hunt will be held outside, so please dress appropriately. The cost is $5 a
person and includes breakfast, activities, and the egg hunt. Contact the
Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department for more information or to register.

first Wednesday of the month June through September! Vehicle registration will begin at 6:00pm.

(Sponsored By Castle Bank and Castle INsurance)
Enjoy a warm summer evening listening to great music at Town Square (301 N Bridge, Yorkville) from 7:00-9:00pm. In conjunction with Music Under the Stars, Cobblestone will be offering a small selection of white wines and red wines to enjoy during the concert starting at 5:30pm.
For $5 you will receive a souvenir glass. Wine Tasting tickets may be purchased for an additional
$1. Additional glasses of wine (Most $4-5 each) or bottles (Most $15-$20) may be purchased Must be 21 to

Summer Solstice                                                                                                                                                  June 25 - 27                                                                                                                                                             This years event will be quite different from our last few festivals. Taking a page from Cory Chisel's highly successful Mile of Music festival, we'll be curating music for six different venues in downtown Yorkville spanning Thursday night June 25th thru Saturday night June 27th. We'll be showcasing music on outdoor stages at the Riverfront Park and in the following establishment: Rowdys, Casa Santiago Mexican Restaurant. The vast majority of the music will be free admission including both outdoor stages. There will be a $5 charge for a wristband to purchase alcohol which is good for the entire weekend of which 100% of the proceeds will go to charity. Stay tuned for many more details !!!
