Quality Healthcare In Yorkville and Beyond

The United City of Yorkville is committed to providing quality healthcare for its residents. There are several excellent hospitals and medical facilities located both in the city and in surrounding area.


Dreyer Medical Clinic

Dreyer Medical Clinic opened their first Yorkville facility on Hillcrest Road in 1995. In 2005 Dreyer moved their facility to 1500 Sycamore Road. In addition they recently purchased property at Galena Road and Rt. 47. Their current location is serving the Yorkville community by providing a range of healthcare services including family practice, hematology, oncology, internal medicine, nephrology, obstetrics/gynecology and pediatrics. Rush-Copley Emergency Center

The Rush-Copley Emergency Center is located at 1122 West Veterans Parkway (Rt. 34), just west of the Kendall County Government Center and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The emergency center treats patients with injuries and illnesses such as broken bones, burns and allergic reactions.  Patients with more critical needs like those suffering from a heart attack or stroke are transported to a local hospital emergency room.  The more than 6,000 square foot emergency center hosts four exam rooms/treatment bays and one procedure room.  Additonal space offers comprehensive diagnostic services that include radiology, MRI, CT, mammography, ultrasound and laboratory services as well as occupational health services.  Primary care, OB and other specialties such as oncology comprise the physician offices. Edward Hospital & Health Services

Edward Health Ventures, a subsidiary of Edward Hospital & Health Services in Naperville has purchased 92 acres of property at the intersection of Routes 71 and 126 in Yorkville. The healthcare facility will encompass 15,000 square feet and will include physician offices and outpatient services. The center, according to the hospital officials, would open in 2008 pending work with, and approval by, the United City of Yorkville. Provena Mercy Medical Center

Conveniently located in Aurora, Provena Mercy Medical Center, 1325 N. Highland Avenue, is a 356-bed Hospital that provides quality healthcare to Yorkville residents including Orthopedic and Cardiovascular services, a Cardiovascular Institute, a state-of-the-art Outpatient and Surgery Center and a Diabetic Wellness Center. Valley West Community Hospital

An affiliate of the KishHealth System, Valley West Community Hospital offers acute primary hospital care for all ages with state-of-the-art technology in diagnostic and surgical services for both inpatients and outpatients.

This progressive, community hospital is located at 11 East Pleasant Avenue in Sandwich, IL 60548. Valley West also offers a variety of preventive classes and programs, a baby Web nursery, and a Rehabilitation Center in Yorkville. The Yorkville Rehabilitation Center is located in the Yorkville Professional Building, 106 Countryside Parkway, Yorkville, IL 60560.
