B.U.I.L.D. Program

REMINDER: IDOT District 3 would like to remind Yorkville motorists that there are no left turns allowed southbound on IL 47 onto Hydraulic Street and there are no left turns allowed northbound on IL 47 onto River Road. Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department Survey

The Yorkville Park Board and City Council would like to know what you think about the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department services, and encourages you to take the web survey to gather your opinions. The survey can be taken online by visiting www.surveymonkey.com/s/YorkvillePR2014. You will be asked to enter a pass code once you enter the website, which can be found on the inside front cover of your Fall Catalog. We anticipate collecting survey responses throughout the August and September, and publicizing the results of the survey in October or November. YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE REGISTRATION

Looking to get your child involved in a basketball league this winter? The Yorkville Parks & Recreation Department will begin basketball league registration on Monday, September 29 and will run until Friday, October 10. Please call the Parks & Recreation office at 630-553-4357 for more information. You can register by calling our office, or by visiting our office in person (201 W. Hydraulic Avenue – Yorkville). Practice will begin the 1st week of December and games will be held until mid-March. Registration is $85-$115 depending on your child’s age and residency status.

1st/2nd Grade – Co-Ed
3rd/4th Grade – Co-Ed
5th/6th Grade – Boy’s only

Gear up for the Thanksgiving season with the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department's 5K Run/Walk. Warm up after the race with a hot bowl of chili. Pre-registration fee: $25 w/shirt; $20 w/out shirt Day of Registration fee: $35 w/shirt; $30 w/out shirt. The proceeds benefit the Parks and Recreation special recreation programs.
