Visualizing Yorkville Zoning Open House! *New Location

The United City of Yorkville is updating the City's Zoning Ordinance and we want to hear what you think about the work that has been done.

We invite all Yorkville residents and business owners to attend the Yorkville Zoning Ordinance Open House on Wednesday, July 23rd at 7 PM located at the Yorkville Public Library in the Historical Meeting Room at 902 Game Farm Road. 

While at the Open House, you will have the opportunity to review the revised zoning ordinance, make comments, and ask questions.  See Flyer for more details.

IDOT's US 34 Roadway Reconstruction Project

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) held an Open House on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 regarding the planned reconstruction of US 34 from Eldamain Road to Center Parkway in Yorkville. The public comment period on this project ends on July 15, 2014. Plans regarding this project are on display in City Hall and are available for download using the links below.

NOTE: These plans are preliminary drawings and will be further refined after the public comments have been analyzed.

B.U.I.L.D. Program

REMINDER: IDOT District 3 would like to remind Yorkville motorists that there are no left turns allowed southbound on IL 47 onto Hydraulic Street and there are no left turns allowed northbound on IL 47 onto River Road. Violators may be subject to fines. Drive safely and have a nice holiday.  click here

Music Under the Stars - Friday July 25 - Town Square Park

The Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department would like to invite you to Music Under the Stars and Wine Night on Friday, July 25 at Town Square Park (301 N. Bridge, Yorkville) from 7:00-9:00pm featuring the Yorkville Big Band. The Yorkville Big Band is a 21 piece big band that plays a wide variety of music including modernized arrangements of famous big bands from the 40's and 50's as well as today's popular music. Cobblestone Bakery and Bistro will also be available for wine tasting throughout the night starting at 5:30pm. Wine tasting participants must purchase a commemorative wine glass for $5 with wine tasting tickets (2 oz pour) available for $1 each, or glasses of wine can be purchased for $4-5.
