The United City of Yorkville holds Public Hearings for the purpose of public comment and review. In addition to including a public hearing notice on its Web site, the United City of Yorkville publishes notices in the Kendall County Record Newspaper and/or the Beacon News. Plan Commission Public Hearings
The Plan Commission for the United City of Yorkville will open and conduct the following public hearings at the Yorkville City Hall Council Chambers, 800 Game Farm Road, Yorkville, Illinois 60560:

• PC 2010-02 Standard Redevelopment

NOTICE IS HEREWITH GIVEN THAT Standard Redevelopment, Inc., petitioner has filed an application with the United City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, requesting rezoning the property from R-3 General Residence to B-3 Service Business District and requesting an amendment to the annexation agreement to provide for the rezoning of the property from R-3 General Residence to B-3 Service Business District to the Bristol Bay PUD agreement, dated April 26, 2005.  The real property consists of approximately 21.76 acres located south of Galena Road and east of Cannonball Trail, Yorkville, Illinois.

The Zoning Board of Appealsl for the United City of Yorkville will open and conduct the following public hearings at the Yorkville Public Library, 902 Game Farm Road, Yorkville, Illinois 60560:

• ZBA 2009-05 Esmer Capital Management, LLC

NOTICE IS HEREWITH GIVEN THAT Esmer Capital Management, LLC, petitioner, has filed an application with the United City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, requesting a variance to City Code, Title 8, Chapter 11, Section 11 - D to permit the continuing existence of an existing sign measuring 92.8 sq. ft. and 20 ft. in height, and to install a 32 sq. ft. reader board added to an existing sign measuring 92.8 sq. feet.  The legal conforming size of a sign in the zoning district is 32 sq. ft. and a message board should measure no more than 50 % of the total square footage of the sign.  The real property consists of approximately 1 acre at 1201 N.
