Permit Requirements for Lawn Sprinklers

Adopted Codes:

     •2000 International Building Code

     •2002 National Electric Code

Required Submittals:

     1.  Permit application.

     2.  Plat of survey indicating location of sprinkler heads.

     3.  Copy of contracting plumber's Illinois License. Please note that all backflow protection installation

          work must be performed by a state licensed plumber.

     4.  List the type and size of backflow protection to be used.

Required Inspections:

     1.  Backflow prevention.

     2.  Supply test results of backflow at site and sent to water prevailer.
