Fox Road Construction Project and Updates

     Yorkville, Ill. – Road improvements on Fox Road between Poplar Drive and Route 47 in Yorkville are scheduled to begin within the next few weeks. The project will consist of patching, overlaying and utility work. The road may be closed for a few days between the River’s Edge and White Oak Estates subdivisions to replace a large culvert. Motorists will be notified of any road closures during the construction process with detour signs rerouting traffic. In addition, driveways may be blocked during the day for short periods of time. Driveways will be accessible each night. The project is expected to be completed in four to six weeks.

On Monday, July 13, the project's contractor, Gallagher Asphalt, will begin the hot-mix asphalt recycling.
